Elections to Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic will take place on 3 and 4 October 2025
A voter for the Chamber of Deputies is citizen of the Czech Republicwho is at least 18 years of age on the second day of the election. Any voter may check whether he or she is registered on the permanent electoral roll at the municipal office of his or her place of residence during office hours.
Vote in the Chamber of Deputies elections a voter who has been prevented from voting in the exercise of the right to vote: restriction of personal liberty on grounds of the protection of the health of the people ("Quarantine"),or limitation of legal capacity to exercise the right to vote.
A citizen of the Czech Republic who is not a permanent resident of the Czech Republic may vote if he or she is registered in the the special voters' list maintained by the embassy; they must apply for this registration in time at the embassy competent for their place of residence abroad (until 24 August 2025). It is also possible to use the so-called postal vote abroad, which is suitable for voters who can receive a package with documents for the postal vote about 20-10 days before the election abroad.

From the moment the election is called it is possible to apply for a voter card 247/1995 Coll., on Elections to the Parliament of the Czech Republic and on Amendments and Additions to Certain Other Acts, as amended.
The application for a voter card can be delivered electronically via Citizen Portal or send from the data box of the natural person to the data box of the applicant the municipality of the applicant's permanent residence, in documentary form with a certified signature or in person at the municipal office in the place of residence. The last date for receipt of applications by letterbox or post is on Friday 26.9.2025, you can apply in person until Wednesday 1.10.2025 at 16:00.
A voter abroad who is registered in a special list maintained by the embassy may also apply to the embassy for a voter card, with which he or she may vote abroad or in the Czech Republic in any polling station.
The voter card itself can be issued to the voter no earlier than 15 days before the election day, i.e. from 18.9.2025. It can be picked up in person, or by another person with a power of attorney signed by a certified voter signature, or mailed to the address of your choice.

How to vote at the polling station
The polling place for all voters in our community is located in the building of the kindergarten Vestec, U Hřiště 576, in the annex building.
The polling station will be open at Friday 3 October 2025 from 14:00 - 22:00 and Saturday 4 October 2025 from 8:00 - 14:00.
When entering the polling station, the voter must present a valid identity document (ID card, passport). All precinct election commissions must now allow voters to show proof of also by electronic eDocument (in the case of offline proof, the electronic document extract must be no older than 48 hours).
If you have applied for a voter card, you can vote with this card in any constituency for the elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. As every voter, you will have to present a valid identity document to the precinct election commission and you hand in your voter card. The district electoral commission will enter you in the special voters' list and attach your voter card to the list.
Voting is done by secret ballot, in the area designated for ballot editing, by inserting the ballot of your choice into the grey official envelopes stamped with the office's stampwhich you will receive from the precinct election commission. You can give up to 4 preferential votes to candidates on the ballot paper by circling the candidate's serial number before their name. The official envelope will then be placed in the ballot box in front of the members of the precinct electoral commission.

In serious cases, usually due to health limitations, it is possible to ask the Vestec municipal office or the precinct electoral commission on election days to have members of the precinct electoral commission visit your home with a portable ballot box. Please call the municipal office at 313 035 509 (before the election) or on election days at 724 090 907.
The portable ballot box walk is usually held on Saturday mornings.
Clients of the Vestec Senatorium can also vote in a portable ballot box, either with a valid voter ID or if they have had their names added to the special voter list in advance in cooperation with social workers. This application for registration on the special electoral roll must be made by 26 September to the social workers at the Senatorium.

The last elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic will take place on 8 and 9 October 2021.
1,212 voters out of a total of 1,545 took part in the election and 1,205 valid votes were cast. The voter turnout exceeded 78 %.
