The elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic were held on 8 and 9 October 2021.
Results of the 2021 elections to the Chamber of Deputies in Vestec:

1,212 voters out of a total of 1,545 took part in the election and 1,205 valid votes were cast. The voter turnout exceeded 78 %.

Voter ID cards
From the moment the election is called it is possible to apply for a voter card 247/1995 Coll., on Elections to the Parliament of the Czech Republic and on Amendments and Additions to Certain Other Acts, as amended.
The application for a voter card can be delivered in electronic form only from the data box of the natural person of the applicant, in paper form with a certified signature or in person at the municipal office in the place of permanent residence. The last date for receipt of applications by data box or post is on Friday 1.10.2021, you can apply in person until Wednesday 6.10.2021 16:00.
The voter card itself can be issued to the voter no earlier than 15 days before the election day, i.e. from 23 September 2021.
General information for the elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in 2021

- On 21 July 2021, the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic approved the government bill on special voting methods in the elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in 2021. Also in this year's election, voters who will be quarantined/isolated at the time of the election due to the covid-19 disease can use special voting methodsnamely, voting at a polling station (drive-in) from a motor vehicle, voting from a residential facility that has been closed due to covid-19 and voting in a special portable ballot box. The law was signed by the President of the Republic on 3 August 2021. On 13 August 2021, the Act was published in the Collection of Laws as Act No. 296/2021 Coll. More information here.
ATTENTION: Special voting methods will apply if on 15 September 2021 a state of pandemic alert or state of emergency declared for at least part of the territory of the Czech Republic due to a health threat from the spread of covid-19 is in force.

Convening the first meeting of the precinct election commission
Pursuant to Section 14c(1)(d) of Act No.247/1995 Coll., on Elections to the Parliament of the Czech Republic and on Amendments and Additions to Other Acts, as amended, the Mayor of Vestec Municipality convenes the first meeting of the Precinct Election Commission for the elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic to be held on 8 and 9 October 2021 on Wednesday 15 September 2021 at 5:30 p.m. in the building of the Vestec Municipal Office (Vestecká 3, 252 50 Vestec).
Attendance of all members is required.
Notification of the members of the precinct election commission whose participation in the training is compulsory about the dates of the training
The mayor of Vestec informs the chairman, vice-chairman and recorders of the precinct election commission that training on the principles of voting and the system of determining and processing the results of the vote will be held on 22 September 2021 at 16:00 in the building of the Jesenice municipal office, Budějovická 303, in the hall on the ground floor.
Notification by the mayor of the municipality of the time and place of the election
The Mayor of Vestec, pursuant to §15 (1) and (2) of Act No. 247/1995 Coll., on Elections to the Parliament of the Czech Republic and on Amendments and Additions to Certain Other Acts, as amended, announces that Elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic will be held
- on Friday 8 October 2021 from 14:00 to 22:00 and
- on Saturday 9 October 2021 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The venue of the elections in the electoral district No.1 in Vestec is Red Avenue in the building of the Kindergarten Vestec, U Hřiště 576, 252 50 Vestec, for all voters (citizens of the Czech Republic) who are registered for permanent residence in the municipality of Vestec.
For serious reasons, especially health reasons, a voter may request to be allowed to vote in a portable ballot box on election days. If you need to vote in portable ballot boxes, contact Vestec Municipal Office at 313 035 501 (before the election) or call the precinct election commission at 724 09 09 07 on election days. The portable ballot box walk will take place on Saturday morning.
How can I vote if I am in quarantine or isolation due to covid-19?
If you are quarantined or isolated due to covid-19 you cannot vote in your constituency on polling days 8 and 9 October 2021, even these days you cannot use a portable ballot box.
If you have been ordered to quarantine or isolate yourself due to covid-19, you have the option of use a special voting method at drive-in stations. These stations are for voters who
- have the right to vote for the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in the relevant electoral district (and they present their identity card, travel, diplomatic or service passport of the Czech Republic or travel passport),
- they have been ordered to quarantine or isolate themselves due to covid-19 disease (evidenced by confirmation from a doctor or health post, or a positive PCR test for covid-19),
- they reside in the district for which the polling station is established or have a voter's card; and
- arrive at the polling station in a motor vehicle (they do not have to drive).
Drive-in polling stations for citizens with permanently residing in Vestec (and also for all other citizens from the municipalities of the Prague-West district) there is only one, namely in Hostivice, Husovo náměstí (road near the Marian Column) Map
Voting at this polling station will take place only on Wednesday 6 October 2021 from 8:00 to 17:00.
The voter must remain inside the vehicle throughout the voting period. Voting will only be allowed to voters who meet the condition of permanent residence in the Prague-West district and who also show proof of quarantine or isolation for the reason of covid-19.
If a voter could not, for serious reasons, use the polling station drive-in on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, can vote by special portable ballot box, with which he's coming to see him special election commission on election days, i.e. on Friday 8.10. 2021 (8:00 - 22:00) or Saturday 9.10. 2021 (8:00 - 14:00).

A voter may vote in a special portable ballot box if:
- has the right to vote for the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic (he/she must present his/her identity card, travel, diplomatic or service passport of the Czech Republic or travel card)
- has been ordered to be quarantined or isolated due to covid-19 (evidenced by confirmation from a doctor or health post or a positive PCR test for covid-19),
- resides in the Central Bohemian Region (but does not have to be a permanent resident).
