Kindergarten
The kindergarten is located directly in the village and its capacity is a maximum of 140 children aged 3 years and older. In addition to reaching the age of 3 years, the applicant must meet the condition of permanent residence in the municipality. The municipality of Vestec is the founder of the kindergarten.

Primary school
In the past, the municipality of Vestec signed a cooperation agreement with the town of Jesenice and also with the Prague 11 municipality, which enables the admission of Vestec children to primary schools in Jesenice and Prague 11.
Since 2024, a new cooperation agreement has been signed with the Prague-Sheberov municipality, so for the 2024/2025 school year it is possible to enrol in the Šeberov Primary School, in the new complex being built between Hrnčíř and Šeberov.
Enrolment in the 1st grade for the school year 2024/2025
The municipality of Vestec has a cooperation agreement for the next school year with the Prague 11 municipal district , Šeberov and also with the town of Jesenice.
All primary schools established by the Prague 11 district, Šeberov Primary School and primary schools established by the town of Jesenice will accept Vestec pupils for compulsory school attendance in the school year 2024/2025.The admission criteria are set by the headmasters of the individual primary schools, but in general, priority is given to children from the catchment areas of the school, then children with a permanent address in Vestec will be admitted.
Parents have the opportunity to apply to more than one primary school.
Enrolments in all primary schools established by the municipal district Prague 11 will take place 10 - 11 April 2024. From 1 April 2024, some schools allow you to generate an enrolment form and book a specific enrolment date at that school on the https://zapisdozs-praha11.praha.eu/. In the past years, the municipality of Vestec has concluded partial cooperation agreements with the following primary schools: Campanus Primary School, Primary school Ke Kateřinky, Primary school Mikulova, Elementary school Donovalská, Primary School of May Victory 1554, Primary School and Kindergarten Chodov. To the Campanus Primary School, which is still attended by most Vestec children, the municipality of Vestec provides school bus (morning and afternoon) for pupils in grades 1-3.
Enrolment in Primary school Šeberov will take place on 22. 4. 2024. More information on the school website: zsseberov.cz
Enrolment in Elementary school Zdiměřice will take place in the term 23. – 24. 4. 2024, with the possibility to apply for enrolment electronically from 19 March 2024 on the school's website.
Enrolment in Primary School and ZUŠ Jesenice will take place in the term 29. – 30. 4. 2024, with the possibility to apply for enrolment electronically 8-12 April 2024 on the school's website.
Most schools organise in March Open Day for future first-year students, keep an eye on each school's website.
Enrolment in the Kindergarten Vestec for the school year 2024/2025
Enrolment will take place on 13 May 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the building of the Vestec Kindergarten (U Hřiště 576, Vestec) and is intended for all children who will be 3 years old by 31 August 2024. Enrolment is also for Ukrainian children with temporary protection status.
Concrete time can be booked from 9 April 2024 at the link published on nursery website. The order in which applications are received does not affect the admission decision.
The child's legal guardian (or a person authorized by him/her) shall attend the enrollment and present:
- ID card or other proof of identity and permanent residence. Foreigners must present the passport of the parent and child, or the permanent resident card. Ukrainian children who have been granted temporary protection shall present a residence certificate and visa tag, a record of the granting of temporary protection or a visa for foreigners with temporary protection.

Each application will be assigned a registration number. The application for admission will be considered by the Head of School within the statutory time limit of 30 days. Admission decisions will be notified by publishing the list of applicants under the assigned registration number.
