Elections to the regional council
Elections to the Central Bohemian Regional Assembly took place on the following dates 20 and 21 September 2024.
The turnout in Vestec was 34 %. Results in Vestec (only parties that received more than 3 % votes are shown):

From the date of the announcement of the elections (12 June 2024) you can apply for a voter card - the voter's card entitles the voter to vote in any electoral precinct falling within the territorial district of the region where the election is announced and in whose territorial district the voter is registered for permanent residence. Written requests with a certified signature or applications submitted via the applicant's data box or via the Citizen Portal can be submitted until Friday 13 September 2024 at 16:00. Requests made in person can be administered until Wednesday 18 September 2024 at 16:00 at the Vestec municipal office.
The ballot papers will be delivered to voters no later than 3 days before polling day, i.e. by Tuesday 17 September 2024.
Previous elections to the Central Bohemian Regional Council will take place on 2 and 3 October 2020 and were significantly affected by the epidemic of the covid-19 disease (people could also vote in quarantine and strict hygiene measures were observed in polling stations).
In the Central Bohemian Region, the coalition was formed by representatives of STAN, ODS, the Pirates and the Allies for the Central Bohemian Region, who have a total of 50 votes out of 65. Petra Pecková, the first on the STAN candidate list, has become governor. Voter turnout in the region was 40.66 %.
