ČEZ Distribuce draws the attention of owners and users of real estate through which overhead power lines run or on which the protection zone extends to the regular removal and trimming of trees and other vegetation threatening the safe and reliable operation of distribution system equipment owned by ČEZ Distribuce a.s. The trimming is carried out during the dormant season.

If the intervention is not carried out by 15 November this year and if the safety and reliability of the operation of the distribution system equipment is threatened, an employee authorized by ČEZ Distribuce, a. s. is entitled to enter the affected land in order to carry out the intervention.

It is forbidden to let vegetation grow above a height of 3 m in the protection zone of overhead lines. In case of non-compliance with the owner's obligations, the Energy Regulatory Authority may apply a sanction.
