From January 2024 onwards no proof of identity of the applicant for signature verification driving licence, but only with an ID card or travel document (for Czech citizens).

From January 2024 it will be possible to Verify at public administration contact points (CzechPOINT) also electronic signature on an electronic document, which, as with electronic document conversion, must first be uploaded to the CzechPOINT Luggage storage and then the applicant personally presents the confirmation at the CzechPOINT counter, where he/she proves his/her identity. Qualified and guaranteed electronic signatures can be verified, but also plain electronic signatures.

From 1 January 2024, the amendment to Act No. 414/2023 Coll. also increased the the administrative fee for signature verification is 50 CZK/Every signature. The fee for authentication of documents and conversion of documents remained unchanged, i.e. at CZK 30 per page.
