Kindergarten
The kindergarten is located directly in the village and its capacity is a maximum of 140 children aged 3 years and older. In addition to reaching the age of 3 years, the applicant must meet the condition of permanent residence in the municipality. The municipality of Vestec is the founder of the kindergarten.

Primary school
Obec Vestec podepsala v minulosti dohodu o spolupráci s městem Jesenice a také s městskou částí Praha 11, která umožňuje přijímat vestecké děti do základních škol na území Jesenice a Prahy 11. Nejvíce našich žáků stále navštěvuje ZŠ Campanus a proto byla obcí zřízena autobusová linka právě k této škole.
Od roku 2024 je nově podepsána také smlouva o spolupráci s městskou částí Praha – Šeberov, proto je možné přihlašovat se i do ZŠ Šeberov, do nového areálu mezi Hrnčířemi a Šeberovem.
Zápisy do 1. tříd pro školní rok 2026/2027 – nově probíhají už od 15. ledna do 15. února!
The municipality of Vestec has a cooperation agreement for the next school year with the Prague 11 municipal district , Šeberov and also with the town of Jesenice.
All primary schools established by the Prague 11 district, Šeberov Primary School and primary schools established by the town of Jesenice will accept vestecké žáky k povinné školní docházce ve školním roce 2026/2027. Kritéria pro přijetí si stanovují ředitelé jednotlivých základních škol, nicméně obecně platí, že přednost mají děti ze spádových oblastí dané školy, poté budou přijímány děti s adresou trvalého pobytu ve Vestci.

To the Campanus Primary School, which is still attended by most Vestec children, the municipality of Vestec provides school bus (ranní i odpolední) pro žáky 1. – 2. tříd.
Většina škol organizuje Open Day for future first-year students, keep an eye on each school's website.
Zápisy pro školní rok 2026/2027 budou ve školách zřizovaných městskou částí Praha 11 probíhat v termínu 4. – 5. 2. 2026. Některé školy umožňují generovat si přihlášku a zároveň se registrovat k zápisu na konkrétní čas prostřednictvím stránky https://zapisdozs-praha11.praha.eu/ . Stránka bude spuštěna v lednu 2026.
Zápis v Primary School and ZUŠ Jesenice bude probíhat v termínu 9. 2. – 10. 2. 2026 za přítomnosti dětí a rodičů s možností registrace na webu školy do 16. 1. 2026.
Zápis v základní škole Elementary school Zdiměřice bude probíhat ve dnech 3. 2. – 4. 2. 2026 a má vždy formální část a motivační část, která zjišťuje školní zralost a připravenost dítěte (max 20 minut).
Zápis v Primary school Šeberov bude probíhat ve dnech 10. – 11. 2. 2026. s možností se předem nezávazně registrovat na stránkách školy.
Zápis do Mateřské školy Vestec pro školní rok 2026/2027 – pondělí 7. dubna 2026
Zápis bude probíhat dne 7. 4. 2026 v budově Mateřské školy Vestec (U Hřiště 576, Vestec) a je určen pro všechny děti, které nejpozději 31.8. 2026 dovrší věku 3 let. Zápis je určen také pro ukrajinské děti se statutem dočasné ochrany.

The child's legal guardian (or a person authorized by him/her) shall attend the enrollment and present:
- ID card or other proof of identity and permanent residence. Foreigners must present the passport of the parent and child, or the permanent resident card. Ukrainian children who have been granted temporary protection shall present a residence certificate and visa tag, a record of the granting of temporary protection or a visa for foreigners with temporary protection.

Each application will be assigned a registration number. The application for admission will be considered by the Head of School within the statutory time limit of 30 days. Admission decisions will be notified by publishing the list of applicants under the assigned registration number.
