European Parliament elections - registration of non-EU nationals on the electoral roll only until Sunday 28 April

Not only can you vote in the Czech Republic in the European Parliament elections on 7 and 8 June 2024. citizen of the Czech Republic (who has reached the age of 18 at least on the second day of the election), but also citizen of another EU countrywho has reached the age of at least 18 on the second day of the election and has been registered for permanent or temporary residence in the territory of the Czech Republic for at least 45 days. A foreign voter must also apply to the municipal authority in his/her place of residence (in person, by mailbox or in writing with a certified signature) to be entered on the list for the European Parliament elections no later than 40 days before the elections, or request the transfer of data from the supplement to the permanent electoral roll for the municipal elections, i.e. no later than 16:00 on Sunday 28 April 2024. For this reason, the Vestec Municipal Office will be open on Sunday 28 April 2024 from 13:00 to 16:00. Therefore, any foreigner who wishes to vote in the European Parliament elections must arrive at the Vestec Municipal Office no later than 4 pm on 28 April 2024.
