The Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ) issued today warning No.000299 against the risk of fires in the Central Bohemian Region, valid from 24 August 2023 at 10:37 a.m. to 25 August 2023 at 12:00 p.m.

In relation to Article 1(a) Central Bohemia Region Regulation No. 3/2020 of 20 April 2020 on the establishment of conditions for ensuring fire protection in times of increased fire risk (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulation"), the measures and prohibitions set out in the Regulation come into force.

Therefore, in accordance with the Regulation, the whole P A G E:

1. the use of fireworks,
2. the release of "lanterns of happiness",
3. Using water from a fire fighting source for purposes other than fire fighting,
4. the entry of motor vehicles onto dirt roads; the prohibition does not apply to owners and users of agricultural land when farming it,
5. the entry of motor vehicles onto forest roads; the prohibition does not apply to owners and users of forest land in the course of their management and in connection with the care of game,
6. stopping motor vehicles where the underside of the vehicle could come into contact with highly flammable materials, e.g. dry grass, straw, stubble, undergrowth, leaves, spilled fuel, etc.

Violations of the obligations set out in this Regulation are subject to sanction. Follow the portal CHMI.
