Fire ban and other measures applicable from 30 April 2024 in connection with the fire risk warning
On 29 April 2024 the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute issued warning No.000151 against the risk of fire in the Central Bohemian Region, valid from 30 April 2024 at 0:00 a.m. to 1 May 2024 at 24:00 a.m.
In relation to Article 1(a) Central Bohemia Region Regulation No. 3/2020 of 20 April 2020 on the establishment of conditions for ensuring fire protection in times of increased fire risk (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulation"), the measures and prohibitions set out in the Regulation come into force. Accordingly, in accordance with the Regulation, the following is prohibited throughout the whole territory, inter alia: lighting or maintaining an open fire, smoking (except for electronic cigarettes) and littering of cigarette butts, use of fireworks, flying "lucky lanterns", driving motor vehicles on field or forest roads where dry grass could catch fire.
